Biography

Nada V. Lahoud’s legal practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions and residential development and covers a wide variety of real estate matters, with an emphasis on advising clients in the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, leasing and day-to-day management and operation of commercial real estate, including retail, office and industrial properties. Nada has represented a diverse group of clients, ranging from private individuals and closely-held entities to multi-national corporations. Nada has always had an interest in human rights notwithstanding her practice’s primary focus on real estate and recently elected to broaden her practice to include civil rights litigation with an initial emphasis on prisoners’ rights.
Some of her representative real estate transactions include the following:
- Represented a large lifestyle shopping center developer in the acquisition of a distressed regional mall in San Bernardino, California.
- Represented foreign investors in the acquisition of a $73,000,000 power center in Chino Hills, California.
- Represented the largest independently-owned grocery supercenter chain in Southern California and the United States subsidiary of a multinational public Korean bakery chain in all aspects of retail leasing in the United Sates.
- Represented the U.S. affiliate of a public Korean pharmaceutical company in negotiating lease agreements for new plasma collection centers throughout the United Sates.
- Represented the U.S. affiliates of a public Korean conglomerate company in the acquisition and disposition of retail centers and other commercial properties and associated leasing matters primarily in Southern California but including projects in Texas and Hawaii.
- Represented multiple developers primarily in the Los Angeles area in connection with obtaining final subdivision public reports and preparing relevant documents for the formation of their common interest developments and for the sale of their new construction residential condominium units.

Prior to opening her own law practice in 2010, Nada was a real estate associate at the boutique Los Angeles law firms of Lim, Ruger & Kim, LLP and Lamb & Kawakami, LLP. Currently, Nada also serves as of counsel to Verve Law Group.
